Thread Lifecycle, Statuses & Triage

How pinned comments function as actionable micro-tickets with assignees, due dates, effort estimates, and resolution lifecycles.

Actionable Micro-Tickets

Rather than simple static sticky notes, every comment dropped in UIDesigner functions as an actionable issue ticket with full triage metadata:

  • Annotation Number: Stable sequential numbering (#1, #2, #3) mirrored across canvas pins, sidebar cards, and notification emails.
  • Priority Triage: Critical, High, Medium, or Low.
  • Status Lifecycle:
  • Plan: Logged and awaiting review or architectural scheduling.
  • In Progress: Actively being worked on by an assigned engineer.
  • Pause: Blocked or awaiting design feedback/clarification.
  • Review: Implemented and awaiting QA or client verification.
  • Done: Successfully verified and closed.
  • Deferred: Postponed to a future sprint or release milestone.

Assignees & Deadlines

Review threads can be assigned directly to specific team members:

  • Assignee: Assign ownership to one or more internal teammates.
  • Due Date: Set target completion deadlines with calendar alerts.
  • Effort Estimate: Tag items as Low, Medium, or High effort to assist sprint planning.

Audience Visibility Filtering

Control who can see sensitive feedback using thread audience tags:

  • Internal: Visible exclusively to organization team members (hidden from clients).
  • External: Visible to both internal staff and invited client reviewers.
  • Custom Teams: Restrict visibility to a specific functional team.
