Audit History & Version Progression

Track site quality trends over time, compare run results across deployments, and catch regressions early.

Historical Quality Tracking

Fixing accessibility and responsive issues is only half the battle—preventing regressions as codebases evolve is equally critical. UIDesigner Audit automatically archives immutable logs of every scan.

Exploring Audit History

  1. Open any audit project in your organization.
  2. Select the History tab in the top navigation.
  3. You will see a chronological timeline of all previous runs:
  • Date, timestamp, and initiating user (or CI trigger).
  • Scanned URL and commit hash (if triggered via GitHub Actions).
  • Overall Health Score trendline.
  • Delta indicator (e.g., +12 pts improvement or -4 pts regression).

Comparing Two Runs

Identify exactly what changed between two deployments:

  1. In the History list, select the checkboxes next to two audit runs.
  2. Click Compare Runs.
  3. The comparison view highlights:
  • Resolved Issues: Violations present in the earlier run that no longer exist.
  • New Regressions: New violations introduced in the subsequent deployment.
  • Persistent Issues: Outstanding items still awaiting remediation.

Automated Regression Alerts

Configure organization alerts in Settings → Notifications to notify Slack channels or email leads whenever a production or staging deploy drops the composite health score below a target threshold (e.g., 90%).
