Real-Time Team Notifications

Keep your product, design, and engineering teams aligned without constantly refreshing dashboards. Connect UIDesigner to Slack to receive targeted notifications where your team already works.

Connecting Slack

In UIDesigner, go to Settings → Integrations (/settings/integrations).
Click Add to Slack.
Choose the default Slack organization and channel (e.g., #design-reviews or #frontend-qa) for global notifications.
Authorize the UIDesigner bot.

Notification Routing Options

You can customize which events post to your team channels:

New Review Pin: Alerts when a new feedback pin is created on a project canvas.
Thread Replies & @Mentions: Notifies tagged teammates with a direct link to the canvas pin.
Thread Resolved: Confirms when a visual bug has been marked fixed.
Audit Run Finished: Posts an executive scorecard summary whenever an automated audit completes, highlighting the composite health score and critical issues count.

Custom Webhook Payloads

Need to route notifications into Microsoft Teams, Discord, or an internal microservice?

Configure outgoing webhooks in Settings → Integrations → Webhooks:

Webhooks are signed using HMAC-SHA256 headers (X-UIDesigner-Signature) so your servers can verify message authenticity.
